How can a refugee be privately sponsored in Canada?

Can an individual sponsor a refugee in Canada?

Individual can not  sponsor a specific refugee or refugee family. The person has to be in the group if he wants to sponsor refugee and the refugee must be eligible under the PSR program. The process depends on the type of sponsorship group .
